Measure of Our Days is an annual symposium that brings together a unique and dedicated group of professionals whose work focuses on end of life care in a variety of contexts: medical, spiritual and personal. Each morning of the symposium attendees will have the opportunity to participate in spiritual practices that have proven for centuries to heal the heart and mind.
Dr. Zitter is honored to be amongst this year’s impressive group of presenters. Join us on the afternoon of March 6 to hear Dr. Zitter expose the public health crisis from an insider’s perspective, taking us on the journey of her evolving relationship with medicine. She challenges and invites us–as patients, physicians, families, and healthcare professionals–to take a step back, take a deep breath, and enquire: what do we really want for ourselves, our loved ones, and those entrusted in our care when death comes? Sharing stories of her patients and colleagues, as well as her own inner struggles, Dr. Zitter shows us how we all might find a better path to the end of life.
This symposium offers continuing education credits. See Saint John’s website for more information on how to register!
